Rapid Evaluation and Answers Development in the Use of cocaine and Sexual Risk Behavior in Buenos Aires.

Financed by the World Health Organization and the Joint United Nations AIDS, the project took place between September 2002 and May 2003, according to the Ministry of Health of the Nation and the National Reference Center for AIDS Faculty from Medicine of the UBA.

The study was advised by the Centre for Research on Drugs and Health Behavior at Imperial College, University from London.

The main goal of the study was to analyze the practice of snorting cocaine in its relations with the assumption of sexual risk behavior regarding HIV infection and other viruses, to design preventive interventions oriented to this population.
