Dra. Diana Maffía

  Diana Maffía is a Doctor of Philosophy at the Universidad de Buenos Aires with a thesis on "Gender, subjectivity and knowledge". She is a professor of "Gnoseology" at the Philosophy and Letters Department of the UBA and of "Femenist Epistomology" in the Gender Studies Masters Program at the Universidad de Rosario. She is also a researcher in the area of Human Rights for the Interdisciplinary Institute of Gender Studies at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. Today she is the Academic Director of the Hannah Arendt Institute. She is the author of numerous publications. Her latest book is Sexualidades Migrantes. Género y Transgénero, (Migrant Sexualities. Gender and Transgender) with Feminaria Editora.
